Amplifying youth voices to shape the future of JA in Canada.
JA believes the voices of young people matter, and learning designed for youth must be informed by youth. Since 2022, more than 20 alumni ages 15-25 years from across Canada have actively worked alongside the JA team as Youth Advisors to help guide and inform our work.
Council members bring youth perspectives to help shape and improve JA programs. They review activities, share ideas, and critically evaluate learning resources to keep programs relevant to youth.
Youth advisors support learning by sharing insights as speakers, facilitating workshops and mentoring other youth.
Members guide JA’s direction by bringing youth voices into priorities and initiatives. They also expand JA’s reach through their peer networks and advocate for youth needs in their communities.
