In this program, youth prepare for life after high school by exploring career and post‑secondary pathways. They connect their interests and strengths to future opportunities and build practical budgeting skills.

About Economics for Success

  • Program length: 2-6 hours 
  • Program format: In-class or online 
  • Supports curriculum: Math, language, social studies, career education 
  • Provided resources: Classroom presentation, interactive digital resources, and a physical kit or resources for activities/games*

  • Identify a long-term goal and the steps to achieve it 
  • Consider different post-secondary options and opportunities 
  • Develop a monthly budget for independent living 
  • Create a personal brand profile 
  • Play a board game to explore how new opportunities and skill-building can help them achieve their future career goals.
