JA is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing youth to succeed in a global economy. With a national office and local offices coast to coast to coast JA Canada is passionately committed to our mission of inspiring and preparing youth with the skillset and mindset to succeed in a global economy. We work in partnership with educators, volunteers and businesses to educate students about financial health, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
We offer a variety of programs on the subjects of financial health, entrepreneurship and work readiness to help youth understand their potential, set life goals and succeed at school and in business. We accomplish this by partnering with teachers and dedicated volunteers who bring the “real world” into the classroom, providing hands-on, real life knowledge and experience to help prepare the leaders of tomorrow. Visit the learn page to find out more about our programs.
Learning experiences can be self-guided, event based, or facilitated by teachers or volunteers. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and include enthusiastic business professionals, successful entrepreneurs and committed individuals. They work in collaboration with educators and JA program leaders using a variety of learning methods to engage students. As part of the learning volunteers share their personal experiences to help students see how program lessons apply to the real world. Learn more about being a JA volunteer.
Self-guided learning is available at https://www.jacampus.org/.
