VOLUNTEER IMPACT

CELEBRATING
VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers across Canada inspire youth through hands‑on learning that prepares them for future success. We are grateful for their time, passion, and commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.

Royden Richardson National JA Volunteer Award

Recognizing exceptional JA volunteers from coast-to-coast.

The Royden Richardson National Volunteer Awards, named after dedicated JA volunteer Royden Richardson, recognize volunteers across Canada who go above and beyond. Their leadership and generosity inspire youth, support their success, and help JA make a difference nationwide.

Each year, 2-3 volunteers are selected for this award in one of two categories: program volunteer or governance volunteer.

Bryan Khan

Program Volunteer
JA Quebec

“Since 2018, volunteering with JA Quebec has been a deeply rewarding experience, as it allows me to give back to my community and witness the incredible growth and curiosity of the students I worked with. Seeing their enthusiasm and progress during the financial literacy lessons I taught was inspiring, and I feel privileged to have played a small part in their learning journey. This opportunity not only reinforced the importance of education but also gave me a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment.”

learn real life skills through JA’s f inancial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs.”
