In this program, youth strengthen their money management skills and learn how to apply them in everyday life. They build financial confidence and become equipped to make informed choices for the future.

About Dollars with Sense

  • Program length: 2-6 hours 
  • Program format: In-class or online 
  • Supports curriculum: Math, language, social studies 
  • Provided resources: Classroom presentation, interactive digital resources, and a physical kit or resources for activities/games*

What will youth do and learn?

  • Analyze scenarios to determine the best method of payment 
  • Play a game to explore how certain actions and decisions can impact credit scores 
  • Work as a group to develop a project budget for an event 
  • Observe factors that affect the selling prices in the stock market
